Indulgence Days have been discouraged for almost 5 years now due to the metabolic sensitivity of our clients. It was once thought that an indulgence day would be beneficial in helping to manage cravings, however many found that it became increasingly more challenging to “recover” from a day of indulgence due to the spiking of blood sugars and insulin levels. Occasional indulgences are managed on a client-by-client basis.
