Currently the firmware in the scale computes everything in the measurement unit (LBs or KG) that the switch on the bottom of the scale is set at. It then displays this to the end user. The raw data is also rounded to the nearest decimal point.
The data that gets uploaded into the IdealSmart platform is always in KG, regardless of what the switch on the bottom of the scale is set at; we then convert the KG into LBs and round the numbers. Due to this measurement conversion, the rounded "result" may sometimes be off by 0.1 (for those using the LBs setting).
We're actively investigating if we can verify that we are "rounding" during the same point in the conversion between KG and LBs, to see if we can mimic what the scale is showing.
